What’s the difference between AmazingWall siding and ordinary vinyl siding?

In 1957 vinyl siding was developed as an alternative to painting. It was a good product, but as in the case with most new technology, it had its drawbacks. Vinyl technology has progressed over the years; you might remember vinyl dashboards, early on, would disintegrate after a few years. They now even make automobile bumpers out of vinyl. Our AmazingPlank is on the cutting edge. In the first photo, a person easily indents vinyl siding with the tip of a finger. 

This quality of vinyl made it susceptible to hail damage and other abuse. In the second photo a speeding baseball does not harm the AmazingPlank siding system. The contoured foam also ensures that any seams will remain closed and unobtrusive. The EPA recognized the insulating value of this product. Our AmazingPlank is Energy Star rated.

The most unique feature of the AmazingPlank is the manufacturer’s warranty.  Crane Performance siding invented vinyl siding in 1957. Crane provides a “Lifetime Function of the Structure” warranty on the AmazingPlank siding system. This covers damage from high impact, such as hail, uneven fading, high winds, rotting, insect damage and a host of other potential problems. This coverage is automatically transferable to succeeding homeowners as long as the home remains a liveable dwelling. However, in addition to covering their product, Crane also stands behind our installation labor. This is an industry first.

  Compare this to carpeting, if you buy a carpet with a good warranty, you wouldn’t expect the mill to stand behind improper installation. The same is true in the siding business except for Amazing. If Amazing Siding is unwilling or unable to make a repair, regardless if it is an installation defect or a material defect, Crane will pay another contractor to effect the repair for as long as the original purchaser maintains ownership of the property.
