Robert (Bob) W. Birner CGR, CAPS

Bob Birner comes from a long line of home improvement specialists and is in fact a third generation Remodeler. Bob got his start in remodeling at the age of twelve, working summers and weekends in his father’s company. After graduating from high school, Bob enlisted in The United States Marine Corps. During this time Bob worked extensively in the aviation electronics field and after nearly four years of service, was honorably discharged.

After serving his country, Bob pursued his true love of helping people improve their homes and went to work at the corporate headquarters of Houston, Texas based Amazing Siding Corp. Recognized as one the most successful and innovative siding and window companies in America, Amazing Siding Corp. has won numerous national awards and has offices in several major markets in the United States. In June of 2001, Bob was appointed Vice President and General Manager of the Houston location.

Bob has earned the Certified Graduate Remodelor™ (C.G.R.) and Certified Aging in Place Specialist (CAPS) designations from the National Association of Home Builders and is considered the go-to-guy for home exteriors.  He has been featured on the TV show, “Your House and Home” and his opinions and insights are often sought by the remodeling industry’s most respected trade publications such as Qualified Remodeler Magazine, Remodeling Magazine and Replacement Contractor Magazine.  Bob frequently speaks to other remodeling groups across the country where he often shares his business insight and marketing expertise.
 
Bob’s experience in home remodeling led to his pairing with Michael Strong of Brothers Strong Remodeling. Together, Michael and Bob host “The Home Improvement Hotline” that airs weekly on THE 9-5-0 AM in Houston, Sunday mornings 9-noon Central.

Bob is a National Association of Home Builders director. Bob is a past president of The Remodelors™ Council of the Greater Houston Builders Association and a former Vice-President of The Houston Chapter of The National Association of the Remodeling Industry and is active serving charities within his community. 

Bob, his wife Tami, and their three children reside in Houston, Texas.
