- “All-in-one” gutter protection systems – These systems require you to dispose of your existing gutters, even if they are perfectly usable. “All-in-one” gutter protection systems usually come in 50 foot sections, which means that if a branch falls and damages one section, the entire 50 ft. section must be replaced. These gutter protection systems require the use of oversized “down spouts,” which can be unsightly. Like metal gutter guards, these systems have a “nose” that still requires frequent cleaning. Worst of all, this is the most expensive gutter protection system you can find.
